Panel: Black Critiques of the Crises of Colonialism and Fascism in the 1930s

In the years leading up to World War II, there was a rapid increase in ultranationalism throughout North America and Europe that would bring colonial and facist ideologies to the mainstream. This panel will aim to examine the circumstances that gave rise to these groups and what that meant for Black people across the globe.
